Terms & Conditions
At Ocean Breath Barcelona, we are a small family—a truly independent project that puts heart, time, and real resources into every training, gathering, and experience we create.

In order to continue offering our services in a sustainable, responsible, and caring way, we need to maintain clear policies that protect both your commitment and the viability of the project.
These policies are not meant to restrict you, but to ensure a fair balance between the space you reserve and the work involved in preparing it. Every spot matters, and your responsibility and understanding allow us to keep creating transformative experiences.

Below, you will find our refund policies, date change options, and general considerations. Thank you for reading them carefully and for supporting this project as it grows with you.
-
Refunds
Full refunds will only be issued in the event of cancellation by the organization.
In this case, the entire amount paid by the registered individual will be refunded.
-
Date Changes
If the registered individual is unable to attend an event on scheduled date, they may request a date change by presenting a medical certificate, for up to one year from the date of the originally contracted course.
Date changes will be subject to the availability of new sessions or trainings.
-
General Considerations
Ice baths and breathwork practices are powerful tools for improving health, resilience, overall well-being. However, they do not substitute for advice, and each person is responsible for listening to their body and respecting their own limits.
By participating in any of these practices, you confirm that:
-
You are doing so voluntarily.
-
You are responsible for your physical and emotional well-being.
-
You understand that each person responds differently to cold and breathing practices.
-
You will consult a professional if you have any questions or medical conditions.
Registration for our activities implies acceptance of these conditions and a commitment to attend, as each reserved spot has a direct impact on the organization, preparation, and sustainability of the project.
We appreciate your comprehension, responsibility, and support: this helps us continue creating spaces for your well-being.
Frequently Asked Questions
â–¸ Do I need previous experience to participate?
No. This experience is completely beginner-friendly. We guide you step by step so you feel safe and supported at all times.
â–¸ What should I wear?
It depends on the practice. Wear comfortable clothing that doesn’t feel tight and allows you to breathe and move freely. Bring a swimsuit and a towel for the ice bath.
â–¸ What does a session feel like? Why do I sometimes feel like crying or laughing?
You may feel warmth, tingling, or emotions being released. This is normal — breathwork activates the nervous system and helps release stored tension.
â–¸ Is it better to eat beforehand or to come on an empty stomach?
We recommend practicing on an empty or light stomach. Avoid heavy meals right before the session.
â–¸ Can I do this if I experience anxiety or stress?
Yes. In fact, it can help regulate it. The practice reduces sympathetic nervous system activation, increases calm, and improves emotional regulation.
â–¸ Can it be done during menstruation?
Yes, but the intensity and rhythm are adapted. Above all, listen to your body — many people actually tolerate the practice better during these days. It varies from person to person.
â–¸ I have a medical condition — can I participate?
We always recommend consulting your doctor before starting. Every condition is unique, and a healthcare professional can assess your case individually. Contact us for more information.
â–¸ I’m pregnant — can I do ice baths?
In general, we do not recommend starting ice bath practices during pregnancy. However, every pregnancy is different. Please contact us so we can review your case and guide you safely.
â–¸ Can children participate?
Yes, children can participate with precautions: never force them, keep exposures short and gentle, and always ensure supervision. The goal is for them to experience the power of cold without creating a negative or traumatic experience.
â–¸ Is there an age limit?
No. What matters is adapting the practice to each person’s level and condition.
â–¸ Are there cases in which breathwork is NOT recommended?
Yes. Certain types of breathwork (especially intense or activating practices) are not recommended in cases of:
-
Uncontrolled high blood pressure
-
Glaucoma
-
Epilepsy
-
Pregnancy
If any of these apply to you, please contact us so we can explore safer alternatives together.
