Breathwork is the practice of intentionally modifying breathing patterns to influence physical and mental well-being by regulating the nervous system through rhythm, depth, and intentional pauses. Within this approach, breath-hold techniques (retentions after inhalation or exhalation) introduce controlled physiological stress that trains CO₂ tolerance and respiratory efficiency, strengthening the body’s ability to remain stable, focused, and calm under pressure.

Icebath . The perfect companion
Ice baths involve short, controlled immersion in cold water to activate a physiological response in the body. Exposure to low temperatures supports circulation, muscle recovery, and inflammation regulation while introducing a brief, intentional stressor. This controlled exposure, especially when paired with steady breathing, trains the nervous system to remain calm and adaptive in challenging conditions, supporting both physical recovery and mental resilience.
